Managed rollout

Electronic Logging Device

Connect driver duty records, HOS visibility, edits, certifications, diagnostics, and inspection workflows.

What the service is designed to solve

Driver logs, Hours of Service, inspections, diagnostics, and evidence

FoxEld is designed to capture authenticated driving and duty events with the driver, vehicle, device, and carrier context needed for a coherent daily log. Drivers and compliance teams can review HOS state, proposed edits, certifications, diagnostic conditions, and inspection output from the same underlying event history.

Best fit: Motor carriers replacing paper logs, consolidating a legacy ELD, or standardizing compliance across a growing fleet.

Production scope includes an explicit review of hardware, supported signals, user roles, integrations, retention, operating jurisdictions, and the people responsible for each exception.

Service capabilities

The workflow, context, and evidence included in scope.

Each capability is connected to a responsible identity and an operating decision. Exact support depends on the selected hardware and agreed rollout.

01

Duty-status event capture

Record driving and non-driving duty changes with driver, vehicle, device, and time context.

02

Hours of Service visibility

Give drivers and compliance teams current clocks, daily history, and potential violation context.

03

Edits and certifications

Preserve original records while proposed edits, annotations, acceptance, and certification remain reviewable.

04

Inspection workflow

Prepare roadside review and output-transfer evidence from the same retained event record.

How the record moves

A controlled workflow from signal to resolution.

The source, review, and final action remain distinguishable so the team can explain what happened without overwriting history.

01

Record

Authenticated driver and engine events enter the carrier-scoped ledger.

02

Review

Drivers and authorized staff resolve edits, annotations, diagnostics, and certifications.

03

Present

Inspection and transfer workflows use the retained log history and evidence.

Operational outcomes

What a well-run deployment should improve.

01Keep records explainable
02Focus compliance review
03Prepare for inspections

Connected services

Build the surrounding workflow without fragmenting the record.

Straight answers

Questions about ELD & HOS

The exact answer depends on your vehicles, operating model, jurisdictions, integrations, and selected hardware. These are the boundaries we confirm during discovery.

01What happens when a driver edits a log?

The original event remains in the ledger. The correction, reason, reviewing actor, replacement relationship, and resulting log version are recorded separately.

02Can inspectors receive an output file?

Roadside sessions support output generation, validation, and tracked transfer attempts. Gateway method and production availability are confirmed during onboarding.

03Does software alone guarantee compliance?

No. Fox ELD supports a controlled record and workflow; the carrier remains responsible for its configuration, operations, driver training, and applicable legal obligations.
